About GoLocalApps

Founded in 2009. Based in Sacramento. Building apps for organizations that care about their communities.

Our story

We started GoLocalApps in 2009 with a simple idea: local organizations deserve great mobile apps, and they shouldn't need a massive budget or a technical team to get one.

Our first apps were built for wine regions in Northern California. We watched association staff struggle with paper maps, outdated websites, and expensive custom development. They needed something better, and they needed someone who'd actually pick up the phone.

Since then, we've built 12+ apps across wine regions, tourism boards, art walks, city guides, and food trails. Our Diners app hit #1 on iTunes Food & Drink. We've shipped apps for organizations from Alaska to Arizona.

The core idea hasn't changed: build native apps that look great, work offline, and let your team update content from our simple CMS. We handle the technical work. You focus on your community.
